What we store about you
- If you request a scan: the channel you gave us, the address your account has us write to, the time, and the IP the request came from.
- If you create an account: your email address and a hash of your password. We cannot read your password.
- If you sign in with Google: your email address and the id that provider knows you by, so we recognise you next time. We ask them for nothing else — no name, no picture, nothing else about you — and we never post anything anywhere. They will know you signed in here; that is the trade, and an email and a password avoids it.
- If you download a fix list while signed in: which channel, when you first took it, and how many times you have come back for it. The file needs no account — if you are not signed in we serve it and record nothing at all.
- If you ask us to make the edit for you: which channel, the price the button showed you, the address your account has us write to, and the time. Nothing is charged and nothing happens to your channel — a person reads it and writes back.
- If you press one of those buttons before you have an account: which button, which channel, the time, and the IP it came from — so we can count how many people the signup step turns away. There is no name and no address on it, and nobody is contacted because of one.
- If you send us feedback: what you wrote, any screenshots you attached, the address you gave us if you gave one, and the IP it came from — that last one only so we can tell a flood of these from one person's bug report. It goes to an inbox and nowhere else; we store none of it here.
No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, no profile of you anywhere.
Analytics
We use a cookieless analytics tool that records page views and nothing that identifies a person. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we email you
Only what you asked for: the result of a scan you requested, and a link to a fix list you took. There is no mailing list.
What we store about channels
Public YouTube data — video descriptions, pinned comments, view counts — and the results of checking the links in them. This is how a report exists for a channel that never contacted us. If it is your channel and you would rather it did not, take it down in one click; that also stops it being republished.
Deleting your account
Write to us and we delete the account, its email address, its purchase records and anything you asked us to do for you. Ask us to and we'll confirm when it's done.
